Requirements – qualifications
• Solid knowledge of Quran, Hadith, and Fiqh
• Beliefs of Ahle Sunnah Wa-aljamah
• Should have memorized a significant portion of the Quran and be able to recite well (Hafiz-ul-Quran and qāri
 will be a plus)
• Holding Master degree (Shahadat-ul-Almia) preferred
• Languages: Urdu, Arabic, English | 
Norwegian preferred

Personal qualities
• Should be able to interact with the youth and understand challenges faced by muslims while living in a non-Muslim environment
• Should be able to manage and maintain educational programs and other activities
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to give motivational speeches
• Provide moral, religious & guidance to the community
• Be a strong community leader with the capability and creativity of inspiring the community

Main responsibilities
• Give lectures (dars) for Islamic education
• Lead daily prayers, Friday and Eid prayers at the Masjid
• Deliver Jumah, Eid Khutbah and facilitate Nikah services
• Conduct regular Quran classes for children
• Active role in Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan
• Resource for educational, dawah, and youth programs
• Funeral guidance, community activities, social contact, as needed
• Work with other Masajid in the local area
• Work with different ethnicities, faith communities, none-faith communities and other organizations.
• Should be able to learn new language at fast pace (for those applicants who cannot speak Norwegian)
